Run the whole tournament from one platform.
Pingle Softwares builds sports event management software for combat sports. Scheduling, brackets, live scoring on every mat, a live championship dashboard and certificates printed at the podium, working together on event day.
From entry lists to medal certificates
Every module passes its output to the next one, so organisers stop retyping names and the results are ready the moment the last final ends.
Register and schedule
Import club entry sheets, validate them and generate every category automatically.
Brackets and match files
Print bracket sheets and produce one ready-to-score file per category for each mat.
Score live on every mat
Kata and Kumite scoring with a controller screen for officials and a big-screen display for the hall.
Follow the championship
A live dashboard collects results from every mat and ranks clubs as medals are won.
Print certificates
Medal certificates are generated straight from the results as soon as each final is decided.
Combat sports event scheduler
The work that usually takes organisers days of spreadsheet sorting before a championship, done in minutes and checked for mistakes.
Clubs send their entry lists in Excel as they always have. The scheduler merges them, catches errors before they reach the mat, and builds every category from your own rules for age, gender, belt and weight.
- Entry import with validation. Merges every club's file, flags missing details and duplicate chest numbers, and rejects bad files with a clear reason.
- Rule-based categories. Age, gender, belt and weight brackets come from a configuration sheet you control, so each championship can use its own rules.
- Fair draws. Players from the same club are spread apart so they don't meet in the first round, and Kumite opponents are paired by closest weight.
- Category capping and sequencing. Large categories split into pools of a size you choose, and every category gets a running order for the day.
- Aka and Ao assignment. Red and blue corners are assigned automatically for every pool.
- Printable brackets. Clean bracket sheets in portrait or landscape, with two small categories per page so a sheet can be cut and sent to two mats.
- Match files per category. One file per category, sorted into Kata and Kumite folders, ready to load into the scoring software, with a printed match list for the organisers.
Karate Kata and Kumite scoring
Purpose-built scoring software, tested at real championships, that follows WKF-style competition formats and handles the messy situations officials face on the day.
Kata
Scoring for Kata bouts with the bracket managed for you, from the first round to the medal podium.
- Elimination and repechage formats in separate, focused editions
- Bracket progresses automatically after every decision
- Large, readable names and scores on the hall display
- Full-screen medal tally shown when a category finishes
Kumite
A complete Kumite scoreboard with the match clock, scores and penalties, readable from the back of the hall.
- Match timer with a single start and pause control
- Senshu (first unopposed point) indicator
- Penalty tracking: 1C, 2C, 3C, HC and H, plus Hansoku and Shikkaku
- Elimination, repechage and round robin pool formats
| Competition format | Kata | Kumite | How it works |
|---|---|---|---|
| Elimination | Supported | Supported | Single-elimination bracket with automatic byes and progression to the final. |
| Repechage | Supported | Supported | WKF-style repechage for 8, 16, 32 and 64 players. Players beaten by each finalist fight back for two bronze medals. |
| Round robin | On request | Supported | Pools with WKF-style points and tie-breaks, extra bouts when needed, then a cross-seeded knockout round. |
Two screens, one match
Officials run the match from a controller screen while the audience sees a clean, full-screen display on a TV or projector. The display adapts to any resolution.
Absences and walkovers
Mark an absent player and the software awards the walkover, moves the winner on and follows the effect through the rest of the bracket automatically.
Correct medals every time
Medal calculation has been validated against a wide range of absence and walkover situations, so the podium is right even when the bracket isn't straightforward.
Tie-breaks you can trust
Round robin standings apply head-to-head and numeric tie-break rules in the correct order, with live pool standings available at any time.
Built for the venue
Runs as a standard Windows application on laptops at each mat. No internet connection is needed during competition.
Your branding
Federation or championship logos can be built into the scoring and display screens.
Live championship dashboard
One screen that tells the whole hall how the championship stands, updated automatically as results come in from every mat.
- Overall champion club standings. Club points and gold, silver and bronze counts ranked live, using the points system of your championship.
- Latest medalists. New winners appear as soon as each category is decided on any mat.
- Mat progress. Completed and remaining matches for every tatami, so organisers can spot delays and rebalance.
- Local network, no cloud. Scoring laptops share results over the venue's local network. No duplicate points, however often it refreshes.
- Final standings export. A consolidated standings spreadsheet is kept up to date for the closing ceremony and records.
Certificates at the podium
Winners leave with their certificate in hand instead of waiting weeks for it to arrive.
Because the results already live in the system, certificates can be generated and printed as soon as a final is decided, with the player's name, club, category and medal filled in. Designs are set up with your federation's logo, signatures and layout before the event.
- Gold, silver and bronze certificates per category
- No retyping of names, so no spelling mistakes at the podium
- Participation certificates for every registered player, if needed
